Connect Any other client

Updated 2026-10-17

Any MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP works with the hosted URL. Clients that only support stdio use npx.

Steps

  1. Enter the URL below in the client's remote MCP server field. There is no authentication and no header to set.
  2. For a client that only supports local (stdio) servers, set the command to npx and the arguments to -y thefaceanalysis-mcp.
  3. To check the connection without any client, the curl command below returns the tool list.

Configuration

URL
https://mcp.thefaceanalysis.com/mcp
Check with curl
curl -s https://mcp.thefaceanalysis.com/mcp \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -H 'accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'

Check it works

Ask: “Using The Face Analysis, what is the median fWHR across your 102 reference faces?” The answer should be 1.78.

The server is stateless and accepts only POST /mcp, so opening the address in a browser returns 405. That is normal. https://mcp.thefaceanalysis.com/health answers ok.
